Danny Beamer is seeking new coaches for the Roanoke Stars. They will have more teams than ever and coaches are needed. There is some remuneration involved. I don’t know any more specifics.

Need two new team managers so we can add two more teams in June. Every team has women players. Currently playing in our 3rd week with 4
teams playing 7 v 7 on a 80 yard field at Riversedge. Teams are playing once per week starting at 7:00 pm Tuesdays and Thursdays.
Men 35 and over Women 18 and over.

Soccer League:M - 35 & W - 18
Virginia Western Community College is exploring the possibility of fielding a soccer team to play possibly starting this fall. This is to help determine if they want to have a permanent team. They are looking for someone to coach the team, and since it will probably pay a little, they would like to anticipate that expense in their budget for next year. But first, they need to find a willing coach. If you or anyone you know is interested, even slightly, please call Onawa Allen at 857-7325. She is Virginia Western’s coordinator for this.
